Frequently Asked Questions

Exhibiting at the show? From general participation information to details about the venue - find answers to your questions below.

Al Warsan holding area is a place where contactors and exhibitors must go to obtain a pass that will allow them to proceed to the DWTC marshalling yard.  Here, they will be given a queuing number which is a token that will allow them to proceed to DWTC. The reason behind this is to control the traffic by not allowing all trucks to proceed to the venue all at the same time that may cause major blockage on the road.

Marshalling yard is the back entrance used by contractors and exhibitors to bring in their materials inside the DWTC. Only trucks with a token obtained from Al Warsan holding area are allowed to enter the marshalling yard. Also be advised that only vehicle trucks will be given access. Personal cars in the form of sedan, SUV etc. will not be permitted to enter the marshalling yard.

Space only contractors can access the halls on the first day of build-up. Please check the show’s timetable for the specific dates.

Shell scheme exhibitors are advised to access the halls on the last day of the build, where the stands are already completed.

In general, all stand construction materials may be removed at 7PM on the last day of the show when the show closes until 6PM the following day. However, for smaller shows, this may vary. Please contact the Operations Team for the exact dates.

The maximum height, including hanging banners, is 6 meters.  However, in cases where the stand is located in a low ceiling area, the maximum height will be 4 meters.

Electricity is only required during build up and show days. This only applies to space only exhibitors.

It is advisable to acquire insurance for your own protection.  However, this is not mandatory. But one should take into consideration the repercussions of not having an insurance as the organiser will not be responsible if anything happens.
